We may not be able to try next month
Some of you may have seen my post yesterday about DH having kidney stones. Well we saw a urologist today and he put DH on a medication that can significantly reduce fertility. So if I'm not pregnant right now, chances are it's not going to happen this coming month either. I'm so upset. Obviously, DH is my first priority and he needs to take this medication, but it makes me so sad to think that month 7 may be a complete bust.

Re: We may not be able to try next month
It just suxz because the one shining glimmer of hope when AF shows up is that you can start trying again in a few days. And now that's not even a possiblity. After the marathon month we had I'm going to be so disappointed if I'm not preggo and then to know we'll have to take a month off is just going to be a big blow. Now mind you, this information is based on tests on rats, but it wouldn't be there if it didn't mean anything... "The effects on fertility were reversible showing improvement by 3 days after a single dose and 4 weeks after multiple dosing. Effects on fertility in males were completely reversed within nine weeks of discontinuation of multiple dosing. " It would kill me to be out of the game for 2 months! He will be taking these pills for a week.

It reduces right? Not completely makes him infertile for the two months? I would continue to try. Remember, it only takes one.

Re: We may not be able to try next month
I just spoke to my midwife about it and she said that after he finishes the medication that he needs to masturbate a lot to clear himself out. She said to not let him ejaculate in me right away. If I'm not preggo, I hope AF is late so that there's enough time to clear him out before I O. This is just so frustrating, and now DH has something else to worry about. As if the kidney stones aren't enough.
