We need an official [update] thread! This is it!

Sometimes I wonder what's happened to certain posters when they've come to the Pets board for hugs or advice and we don't know what the end result is...

So here's what I propose. Do a search for your name in the Pets board and look in the second column of search results for threads that don't start with Re:

That will give you threads you've posted. Check them out, and see if you've updated on what the end result was. If not, update us here!

The most recent thing I've posted was about a dog named Molly that needed to be adopted, and was at my Vet's office. She's not on their site anymore but I'll call them and find out what happened to Molly. Chat Icon

Your turn!

I have posted recently about Sushi not "going" where she is supposed to. It is three weeks on Buspar (anti-anxiety) and she has stopped pooping in the bathtubChat Icon

However, she has developed a quirk that is troubling...she is growling at her tail and and nothing at all. I did a search online and it would appear that it is FHS. Unfortunately it is commonly stress related which is what we are already treating her for. she has another appt in two weeks at the vet so he may have other treatment options for herChat Icon

I posted most recently about our Helmut and his cancerous tumor in is shoulder. He's getting an injection into his shoulder every 2 weeks to alleviate the discomfort. We elected not to have his leg removed, as it likely would not have gotten rid of the cancer. Basically we're making sure he's comfortable for the rest of his days. Here's a pic my DH took today... he's pizzed bc DH woke him up lol.

Well, Odies' issue wasn't too big compared to the issues other pets have suffered from, but the update is...
They drained his ear
we brought him back a week later and gave him a cortizone shot in his ear to decrease the swelling. We still have to clean his ears every day and give him drops.
They also removed a tag from under his eye to hopefully stopped him from rubbing his eyes with his dirty feet. So far, he's pulled the stiches out, I guess that didn't work

Re: We need an official [update] thread! This is it!

Update: Tiffany passed away in the middle of the night in December. We were heartbroken. Time is starting to heal, even though it will never fully go away.

We got a new cat named Daisy. She no longer has pink eye and a cold. She is starting to warm up to her brother Roscoe. For awhile there it was rough, there was a lot of hissing going on. Just this week they have smelled each other face to face. I finally feel like Daisy is comfortable in her furever home and we have really bonded with her. We curl up on the couch every night and watch TV together. She is very calm now. She loves to cuddle and purr and give kisses and head nuzzles.

Since it was SO warm yesterday, I took my finch Scotch to have his beak trimmed at Marc Marone's store. He did a great job, and trimmed it down and shaped it . I was going to take a pic of him while he was alone in his transport cage, but when we got home he was so excited to get back to his buddies that he wouldn't stop moving around!
