We officially started potty training today

and he "accepted" to sit on hs potty.

I gave him rice cakes and ran the water on the faucet but NOTHING. Then he started crying. We eventually did calm down.

I put his diaper back on.

He saw the rice cake again but told him that it was only if he went to the potty. So he sat down on the potty with his diaper on. I gave him some rice cake. That kid will do anything for "treats".

We tried again tonight. And nothing. But he was OK with just sitting on the potty which is good. 6 months ago he completely refused to sit on it.

I think he needs to be used to the no diaper thing. He felt uneasy without his diaper on. So we will practice with butt naked time during the day.

Ugh I wish Cailen would be motivated by a rice cake. He loves those dum dum lollipops!!!! Potty training is quite a trip!!!

I am not sure how long it will take or he is really ready.

I just hate diapers!

YAY EJ!!!!!!!!

DS has been 'sitting' on his potty for about 6 months. He sits on it for about a minute and then gets off.

I need to push it now.
