Wow, first of all: thank God everyone is OK!
Secondly, I really have to say I admire the crap out of you for the fact that you are basically like 'ehh, it's OK- can't be too upset about the house b/c we are all OK and that's what matters most'... That is AMAZING!! Good for you and I can't tell you how awesome your outlook on it is!!!
Hope everything goes smoothly for you with the insurance process and being somewhere else in the meantime!!! But, thankfully- you are all well and that is the best thing!

Thank you all for your kind words We are doing good and the festivities will begin tomorrow with the insurance company and all It turns out the fire started because their was a crack in the morter (sp?) of the fireplace and that when we had the fire going on with the crack it started a fire in between the wall of our den and DD room but it all worked out, thank god!!! The previous owners did not have the fireplace made well (as we just found out) so needless to say NO MORE FIREPLACES for us Thanks again everyone!!!
