We saw the Ped (again!) today
Ethan is now on Steroids. Nebulizer is also now going to be every 4 hours around the clock. In addition to the wheezing, his chest is now congested and the nebulizer 3 times a day is not enough. It only works for 2-3 hours instead of 4-6 like it should.
And back to the Ped on Friday.

I'm so sorry. I know how hard it is.
DS is on the nebulizer all winter and at one point, it wasn't helping and he had to be on steroids too.

Did he give you a diagnoses?
My DS has bronchitis last week he and had the nebulizer every 4 hours too.
But thankfully it cleared in 2 days of treatment
sooo sorry
ETA..my Ped stopped the nebulizer once he breathing was less rapid and labored.
DS still wheezed for a day or two after

We are on steroids too and its not helping She has treatments twice a day, in addition to the four times a day with the xenoprex and she is still weezing, congested and runny nose. We just started antibiotics yesterday to see if that helps. Its so frustrating and scary
