We Started Our LUPRON Injection This Morning
I cannot believe the time has come. It wasn't so bad. My husband was so cute giving it. He kept feeling nervous that he didn't get all of the liquid in (just .1 mililiters). It didn't hurt, probably less then a blood test in my arm. I am petrified though when I start the intramuscular (Progesterone) shots! YIKES!
I hope these next 4-6 weeks go by quickly. I start stimming and go in on January 3rd for my first blood test/sono. Happy New Year EVERYONE and may you all have your dreams come true!

Re: We Started Our LUPRON Injection This Morning
Congratulations Keri - See it really isn't that bad
Can I make a suggestion - I think it is much easier when you give your injection to yourself - I wanted my DH to be involved too, so he mixed all the medications for me and loaded the syringe and then I injected - The one time he injected, he put it in so slow as to not hurt me - but it was really worse than any I did on my own -
Good luck with everything

Congrats!!!!The Lupron needle are a breeze. i usually gave them in my tummy, where there was more cushion Pretty soon you will be giving it to your self. Dont worry abot the PIO shots...the key is to put a warm compress on the are...NOT ICE!!!!!

Re: We Started Our LUPRON Injection This Morning
Hi Diane,
Thanks! A warm comoress huh..please explain exactly what you mean. Also, do you know if I could prepare my Lupron needle the night before and cap it until the AM when I have to give it, or is this not a good idea?
Thanks, Keri
