I personally think they are hideous and cant believe you would even think about giving up what you have now for that.

The last house was my FAVORITE by far. That house, with ALL the upgrades I would put into it (Interior Romeo & Juliet balcony; granite; hardwood floors throughout; upgraded maple cabinets in kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room; double wall ovens; 12 foot garage bump out; so much more I can't remember) all told...comes to a whopping....$425,000.
It's sick. I'm in love.

No. They are several different builders in several different subdivisions. Drees, Centex (that was the last one), Lennar.

In some developments, the houses were too close for my liking. In others, not so much. The model homes are close together usually so they don't waste good lots. But when you build your home, you pick the lot you want, so you'd have to be sure to pick the one that gives you the most land. In some developments, you pay a premium for the best lots, but the most I heard was $16,000.
