We were in a car accident today
We were waiting at a red light on rte 112 when suddenly the car lurched forward. Then I heard DS begin to wail!!!! I realized we had been rear ended. My heart broke into a million pieces.
Thank God he is okay!!!!!!  It wasn't a bad accident at all. But it made me realize how scared I was for him. They guy kept saying 'OH MY GOD!!!! YOU HAVE A BABY!!!!!!' Thanks for reminder numnuts.
Doctor says he's good. I am sore from some whiplash, but I'll get over it.
Here's the funny part: It literally happened right in front of my Chiropractor's office.  Time for an adjustment!!

Oh no!
It happened to me several years ago. I had hardly any damage to my car. Yes, because I took all the impact. I had to go to the chiropractor for 6 months.

getting rear ended is scary - I was rear ended a few years ago - 3 times in 1 month (I was stopped at red lights for all of them) I can only imagine having it happen with DC in the car.
I'm glad you two were not hurt. Cars can be fixed or replaced people can't.

Thank God you and your DS are okay... but the way people drive around here I wish I could say I'm surprised... I was hit TWICE within TWO WEEKS time. The first one my car was parked, the second we were rear ended - DD was in the car in the second.
Today on Glen Cove Road I had the pleasure of having a tractor trailer up my arse! DD was in the car and the guy was literally on me. Unbelieveable! I drove SOOO SLLLOOOWWW... what else could I do, I was looking to turn and he was on me?
I wish people cared more when babies are in the car.
