wearing pants to a wedding?
yay or nay?
I have always worn dresses, but lately I have seen more people wear dress pants with dressy/sexy tops.

I think it is fine as long as they are truly dress pants and not work pants with a dressy top.

I've worn them to weddings.
They've always been appropriate to the venue/time. I've always gotten massive compliments as well.

Yes..with hot shoes and great accesories.I wear them all the time cause i am big on top and tiny on the bottom so seperatres just allways work better on me.

yay - just make sure they aren't transparent. Someone wore a beautiful pant suit set to my wedding and her pants were very transparent to all my guests!

I've seen it, but it was inappropriate both times.
Maybe a daytime wedding...never evening. At least not in the NYC metropolitan area.

Absolutely! I once wore a pair of VERY wide leg black slacks with a dressy top and heels. Got a ton of compliments!
I think even black work slacks would work--wide leg, with nice heels, and well accessorized.
