Wedding Gift question....
One of my closest friends ever is getting married next weekend. Money is not an issue with them, they both have excellent jobs and are very comfortable. I want to give them something nice and meaningful, but can't think of anything at this point. I gave her the toasting flutes and cake set for her shower - but everything on the registry is bought now. I mean everything Any ideas? If I can't think of anything else, I'll just give them money - I only wish I could do something different.

Re: Wedding Gift question....
I've seen a lot of posts here about doing something on their honeymoon. Do you know where there going? Are they going someplace with a spa or restaurant that you can get them a gift certificate for? Couples massage? Or maybe you can get them a nice dinner in their room with champagne?

Or maybe you can buy them a class that they can take together when they come back from their HM. I know there is a website for gifts to give of different classes...wine tasting, cooking, and others too. Maybe yoga? I just searched google, but couldn't find the site...they are classes in NYC.

Re: Wedding Gift question....
since the wedding is next weekend, I would say that everything they need has already been taken care of. I would just give them $. maybe what you can do is write a nice poem in the card that will bring a smile to their faces and show that you put in some extra effort.

Re: Wedding Gift question....
For my wedding my Aunt took pictures of the ceremony. In between the ceremony and reception she had them developed and put into an album. Maybe you can have you mom do it or something like that. Put the invitation in the front and make it nice.

Re: Wedding Gift question....
My best friend framed my wedding invitation in a beautiful frame, and she bought us a gorgeous bowl with our names and wedding date engraved. I love it and feature it prominently in my china cabinet!
