Weekend away with the kids-- ideas please
OK so my DH and I want to go away for the weekend with the kids, some time this winter. Does anyone have any ideas?? Great Wolf is a little more than we would like to spend. I have a 3 1/2 year old and an almost 8 month old-- ski is probably not an option either

Mystic is a lot of fun. There is also a lot of child friendly stuff to do in DC, although avoid anytime near the innaugeration as it will be crazy crowded
Lancaster is great, but that's probably more for warmer weather.

Oh then you TOTALLY have to go to willow valley. I always rave about it. Its perfect for you guys. VERY family oriented. They set up childrens events all day long. You really do not have to leave the premisis. Onsite "child" waterpark...not huge but PERFECT for your kids. Acres of land with animals and swings and ponds etc... You can do an all inclusive where all the food is included and let me tell you...its hearty stuff...meatloaf, turkey, sticky buns, donuts...be prepared...HAHA If you do a search Ive answered many peoples questions on this place. I know you will have a blast. Also, the outlets are 15 min away and it also has a great playground out front. Hershey park/that other kids amusement park (?) are right up the block but unfortunately closed right now. They have alot of factory stores (pretzel making etc...) If interested and I can help ya with any questions ask away. Realize its aboyt 3 hrs away though...not bad foir us but I am unsure about you guys. It goes fast trust me. Oh I forgot they also have a thomas the train thing.
