Weight vent
I am done with this PP weight. I was 5'5 and 115lbs (a bit on the smaller side) when I got pregnant. I wound up gaining 65lbs (I did quit smoking during pregnancy). I lost 30 immediately, but the last 35 are holding on for dear life :- It is not even the same. I have gotten heavier before but not like this. Nothing fits me other than sweat suits. I seriously want to cry. I was in a size 2 pre pergnancy and it was loose. I now can barely squeeze into an 8-10 depending on the cut. I don't even really eat, and I am not a fan of sweets, so I don't get it. Nothing seems to work. I am completely disgusted with myself, and I don't know what to do anymore.
BTW- I hope this does not insult anyone who is normally my size. I personally, am just not comfortable like this.

Re: Weight vent
I'm right there with you. I lost 30 lbs on Weight Watchers before getting PG. None of those clothes even fit me. I've even been following WW and haven't lost anything after the initial weight loss (which was marginal to begin with).

Re: Weight vent
I am right there with you. I have barely lost any weight and I am eating really well. I think you should talk to your doctor. I found out that I have an underactive thyroid and possibly have atypical Graves disease, which could explain my lack of weight loss.
But I know exactly how you feel. I hate what I see in the mirror.

No. I was borderline GD (only passed the 3 hr by 1 pt) while pregnant, do you think that makes a difference'?

Re: Weight vent
I have heard so many people with success stories doing weight watchers. I know my sister swears by it. GL!

Not likely......it might have contributed to your 65 pound weight gain though during pregnancy. I would have your Thyroid checked...sometimes hormones can through things out of whack. Your thyroid controls many of your hormones in your body...

Re: Weight vent
I had been trying to lose weight since December with no luck, and then I tried the 30-day shred by Jillian Michaels. Holy Cow...! Try it. I've lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. I'm not gonna lie, it kinda stinks.... its not exactly fun, but it works!! Good luck to you

Re: Weight vent
Cut down on carbs/sugar, eat healthy snackes every 3 hours and you will lose. And once it's nice we can go walking. You'll get there. Don't stress too much til you're done making babies.

Re: Weight vent
Unfortunately some of us hold onto baby weight longer than others. It took me a good year after my DD was born to get back to where I was comfortable. This time around I know how my body is and what to expect. It will happen

Re: Weight vent
With DD #1, it took a full 7 months before I got close to my prepregnancy weight. Then I got pg again.
This time around I'm doing WW and walking like crazy with my girls (mall- EARLY in the am) and the weight has been coming off about 1.5-2 pounds a week. I also drink water like a camel.

Re: Weight vent
I found that BF is helping me melt the lbs off. I gained almost 50 lbs. and I already lost 30! Starting next week (week 4 post partum) I will start walking on my treadmill 1/2 hr a day at least 3 times a week. We'll see if that help. I will recommend walking, it might give you the boost you need. XOXOXO BOTB

Re: Weight vent
I'm right there with you...everyone is telling me that I'm only 6 weeks PP, and it doesn't help that I'm couped up in the house and can't really be that active with her yet!!!! It's beyond frustrating, but I'm going to give it a little while and if I don't see it go, I'm going to go to the gym and work my butt off!!!
