Weird comment on DD's daycare monthly evaluation
I get this form every couple of month which is basically a checklist on how DD is doing - socially, cognitively (is that even a word??), etc...
In the comments section her teacher wrote something like:
Elizabeth is very affectionate and loves her friends at school. We are still working on her shyness but it is improving.
Elizabeth loves getting nice comments from her teachers and friends about her cute outfits <3
I just think that last part is so weird. Did she haven nothing else to write? She's 2.5 years old - she wouldn't know if she wore a paper bag to daycare!

Maybe she gets extra affectionate or less shy when someone tells her she's wearing a pretty shirt!

i was more confused by the fact that the 1st sentence kinda contradicted itself.. she's very affectionate with her friends, but she's shy? 
and then the second sentence made me kinda because the teacher put "<3" at the end?

I always use a smiley face. We are taking care of children all under the age of 5, we are a mushy bunch!

I can see it-I know my DD loves when people comment on what she is wearing-especially if she is wearing a dress. Then she runs around saying "I'm a princess" over and over again and basks in the spotlight if anyone comments.

It doesn't bother me in the least if it's a teacher but from the Director, it really looks like the Nut Free Policy is being enforced by a 12 year old girl
