Whoops-I should've said we aren't going this year.

I don't believe in signs, however if you're in pain unless you're laying down. Then I wouldn't go I think a car trip would be pretty miserable.

Maybe it's coincidence, but it's also a little freaky how stuff happens like that. My DH feels like something bad always happens to him in October.

Three years in a row I had a car accident (minor fender benders) on September 24 of 1999, 2000 and 2001. I was petrified to drive in 2002 but nothing happened. Although for a long time I was convinced that I was meant to die in 1999 and that death was trying to catch up (DAMN that Final Destination movie)

Weird? Freaky? Just a coincidence?
I believe in signs. I also believe that once we attach something to a bad date or event, we can "will" things into our lives that are negative. Maybe not in your case, OP but maybe you aren't meant to travel up there? Maybe someone is protecting you and preventing you from going?

I honestly wonder that. My family has also had bad things happen to us multiple times on vacations in Lancaster or things that happened the day before that prevented us from going. The state is starting to freak me out!

Cellulitis is no joke! My DH had it & he was in immense pain. I hope you feel better soon.
I think it's way too much of a coincidence that something always happens! I say it's for a reason!
