Weird Question - Change in CM when sick?

I tried to google this and found conflicting things. I have a horrible cold and have been coughing stuff up/blowing my nose non-stop and I noticed that I also have increased CM. I have used OPKs and so far I have not gotten a smiley (my cycle got all funky last month so I have no idea when I am due to O). Do you know if being sick and having a lot of mucus in my cough could also lead to increased CM? DH and I are both sick and I am PRAYING I am not O'ing because we just have NO desire to lol.

I've wondered the same thing. From my experience, I think yes but I'm curious what other have to say too.
