Weird-smelling Britax seat...
DH bought a Roundabout to keep in his car. He has a MINI, so space is at a premium ( ) and he takes it out of the car when he knows it will be a while before we put James in it again.
Right now, it's in our small guest room and I noticed that the room has a funky smell to it - like sulfur. I chalked it up to the heat/humidity.old house, but the smell is actually coming form the Britax. James has only been in the seat once and we didn't notice an odor when we first took it out of the box and put it in the car.
What do we do about this, if anything? I really don't want to use this seat with the way it smells right now....

huh--can you exchange it for another? we got a roundabout last week too, and it smells fine (and has been sitting in our foyer for a week+ b/c DH can't figure out how to install it)

 That's why my Marathon sat in my living room for a month.
We got the Roundabout Memorial day weekend and threw out the box. I wonder if they'll do anything if I call Britax directly?  I'm not looking for anything for free, just want to find out what's up with the smelly seat!

Have you used it before? If you have could DC have spilled something on it??? DD always spills her milk, well she does it purposely so the cover starts to stink, I have to wash it more times than I'd like....

We just used it once - and he didn't eat or drink anything in it. He just napped the whole time.

Welllllll you could always buy a second one and then return this one in that box saying it smells funny.
