We're taking DD on her first Cessna flight for Father's Day!
DH has his private pilot's license, and for Father's Day, he wants us to take DD on her first flight 
He is an EXCELLENT pilot, and he has gotten me over my fear of small planes. We even got DD her own little headset  But I can't help but be a little bit nervous...especially because the weight distribution has to be that I am sitting in the front, and not the back with her.
I am excited to get her started early so that she's never afraid...but nervous since it's the first time, I guess...

Lucky kid! A friend of mine is a pilot, so I've been in a Cessna a few times. She may be too short to see the ground through the window, but I think she'll really enjoy it! That's going to be cool for her as she grows up, going flying with Daddy.

wow! thats great! my dad has his own airplane but we havent taken DD up in it yet...shes almost 18 months lol...maybe this summer but we will see!

That sounds fun. Just think of it like a car. She would be in the back by herself there. Actually the planes engine will probably lull her right to sleep.

We took DS at 10 months he actually enjoyed it and wore ear phones which I didn't think he would-it was a little loud in there- but he loved the whole thing. He actually got so comfy he took a nap too!

Very good point!
We put her little headset on the other day. She looked so cute. I hope she'll keep them on during the flight. We've been putting them on her a little bit each day so she can get used to them.

Ahh, ok  That used to be me, too. But the way I figure it, if I'm gonna be married to a pilot I may as well just give in and get used to it
