Were you a bridesmaid in your brother's wedding?
if so...
on the wedding day, did you get your hair/makeup done with your mom, or with the bride and the other bridesmaids?

I was the maid of honor in my brothers wedding, I got my hair done with my mom and then went to my SIL's house

yes I was a bridesmaid- but our Mom is no longer with us- if she was- I would have went with her
they wedding was in NC- so I opted to do my own hair

I would just go with FSIL, not worth the "drama" in the long run. It's her day, do what she wants IMHO

My SIL was my MOH and she got her hair and makeup done with me and not her mother that day.. I say go do what the bride wants, it is her day.

We were all pretty close distance wise so I spent the morning with my (f)SIL getting my hair and makeup done then went to get pics with my brother and MY family and then went back to SILs to get pics with her before the wedding and met my brother at the church.

yes, and I went with the bride and other BM's to get our hair done. I feel like that is part of the wedding day experience.

I'm in my brother's wedding, which is OOT. I'm getting my hair & makeup done with my mom, and then going to the bride's mother's house. Fortunately my FSIL is very laid back and had no problem with it.

I was a bridesmaid in BOTH of my brother's weddings (sadly he is not married to either of them now) and each time I got ready on my own and then went to the bride's house/hotel suite.

I had DH's sister as a bridesmaid in my wedding. I invited both my SIL and MIL to have their hair and makeup done with me. However, MIL wanted to go to her place. SIL had her hair and makeup done with me.

I was. I had my hair done at the local salon with my mom and sisters. The bride had her hair done there too but she was gone by the time we arrived for our appts.

for my brothers wedding it was out of state so my mother came with the bridesmaid and sisters. for my other brothers wedding my mother would have went with us, but she was too sick to attend the weddding.

My SIL was in my wedding parry. I did not have any girls getting ready together. I just wanted some peace and quiet, and a lot of my BP members are moms and I didn't want their day to be so long. Anyway, my SIL went with her mother. I would have felt bad if my MIL had to go alone.

Yes, I was a BM in both brothers' weddings. I got my hair / makeup done with my mom.
ETA - my FH's sisters are in my BP and are getting their hair / makeup done with the rest of the BP - so is FMIL. Of course, they live OOT, so I guess they didn't have too many other options.
