We've got an EGG!!!
So this was my first cycle using the CBEFM and I have to admit I was alittle nervous. My doctor told me a year ago that b/c of the type of BC I was on, it would be entirely possible that it could take well over a year for me to O.
So over the past year I've been using OPKs but unfortunately, never got my BFP.
So yesterday morning and again this morning (CD 13 and 14) there it was! That big old circle with a little egg in it! I'm thrilled. This truly means I *AM* ovulating.
I cannot even tell you how relieved I am.
Now the down side to this is my back and sciatica have been really bad so I can't BD!!!! 
I'm convinced God really likes screw!ng with me.

Ehhhh screw the bad back...literally!!!  There are ways around it. 
So excited for you!!!! I remember that morning and how excited I was. Unfortunately in my case, it was a false positive, but that's related to my IF issues.

That is why I also check my CM to see if it is EWCM and i also use OPK's to see if I get a + and also get "the egg" on CBEFM

YAY you're eggin'!! My 1st 2 cycloes with the CBEFM I didnt get one, so I called them and they said sometimes the monitor has to get to know you. Third month , got my egg and got my BFP!

I don't mind at all...
I was on Depo Provera (AKA "the shot")for 2.5 years. DP stops you from Oing and from getting your period altogether. Additionally, you're not supposed to be on it longer than 2 years, so I had two additional cycles that I should have NEVER had.
Because of this, my new doc told me it could take up to 18 months just to get my period. To make matters worse, even if I did get my period right away, I still stood a chance of not ovulating.
I did get my period fairly early, about 6 months after coming off BC but I was reallly never sure if I was ever ovulating. I did the OPKs but we were not successful with getting PG so we took some time off during the holidays and started back up at the beginning of the year. It was then that I decided to get the CBEFM and start tracking my cycle that way.
I figured I would do it for a month or two to make sure it's really reading y cycle right and then get down to baby makin' business.
Ideally, I would like to give birth in the spring so we're holding off on BDing, but just knowing that I really could be Oing, is SO huge for me.
