What a difference a week makes
Maybe I'm premature posting this here, but probably not. I believe I'm having a miscarriage as I write this. i was going to post on the pg board, but I really don't want to go on their again at this time.
Its incredible how 1 week makes a difference - As far as I knew last Saturday, I wasn't pg, wasnt even trying to be...and then I was and in that week i'd already began making plans, talking about names with DH and dreaming of baby stuff and whether it would be a boy or girl and if I needed new clothes for a boy or if I could use DD's clothes again. Then on Friday, I took another pg test to reassure me b/c I didnt feel pg anymore( it was stll pos. ) Then on Saturday I start to bleed and cramp and have been all day and night.
Now I'm most likely not pg anymore, but I'm just amazed at how much grief being knowingly pg for 1 week can cause...
Thanks for listening...

Re: What a difference a week makes
It was the same for us. We were 6 weeks when they told us it wouldn't last, then a few days later I had a m/c. We were so excited.... thinking of everything... baby. It really does feel like something got stolen from you. That was 2 weeks ago. But, I have to tell you, it does get better with every day that goes by and thinking that our baby will be here soon enough helps lot.

Re: What a difference a week makes
I am so sorry that you are going through this. I also felt that my dreams of my baby were stolen, I was 7 weeks, but the baby only grew until 5w. I am trying to take one day at a time and look towards trying again as soon as we can. Go at your own pace.

Re: What a difference a week makes
I just wanted to send some
It's incredible the difference even ten minutes makes! That's the time between when we were told we were having a boy... to when we were told there were serious complications

Re: What a difference a week makes
I'm sorry I think no matter how long you're pregnant for, having a miscarriage really does take a lot from you. 5 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks - it still hurts! I'm sorry for your loss!

Unfortunately, we can all relate
I wish I had something to say to make you feel better but there is nothing.
