What a mess...
I haven't run in 2.5 weeks because my life is absolutely insane right now. We're moving on Monday, and I'm basically spending my days at work, taking care of the girls by myself, and packing until midnight every night. At the same time, I supervise 8 people at work, and one of them I've had problems with for a while now, but he blew up on me and slammed my door last week so now I have to issue him a 5 day suspension, and they are sending up the Union president and VP to meet with me the day after I move.
I haven't seen my husband in WEEKS now - he goes to work on the house, then to work, then back to the house until midnight. The girls and I miss him like crazy, and I'm simply exhausted from maintaining the household while packing a 3000 sq/ft house AND working AND taking care of the girls all by myself, while everything is packed away in boxes.
I'm so stressed that my body has basically shutdown and I can't eat. Yesterday I managed to eat a bowl of yogurt, a hard boiled egg, and a small salad, and that's it... I try, but everytime I think of food I feel like throwing up!
I've lost 5lbs in the last week alone, and I'm only 5'4 so you can see it, and I know it's not good.
I'm a mess, and while I'm now at my goal weight (I can't believe I'm 120lbs... and truthfully I don't like how I look... I think I'm starting to look sickly ), I'm not at ALL happy about it
I know I can't even think about running again until I get back into shape and start eating real meals... which just depresses me even more!
This too shall pass, right?

Re: What a mess...
It will absolutely pass...just do your very best to take care of yourself during this stressful time. As difficult as it is, you have to eat! Are there any foods that don't make you queezy?
I went through a period last year where I was constantly sick to my stomach due to stress. During that time Kix cereal was my best friend as were my low carb bagels. They were the only htings I could keep down. I am so sorry you are dealing with this but it will be ok!

The only thing I seem to be able to handle right now is protein - cheese, eggs, yogurt, etc, so I'm trying to eat as much of that as I can handle. Anything else makes me gag. I tried to eat some oatmeal with fruit this morning but could only take about 5 bites. I just have to get through this next week and then I think I can relax a little and get back on track... I'm just worried about the damage I'm doing to my body in the interim. I KNOW it's bad what I'm doing, but I can't do anything about it right now, which is even more frustrating!

It will pass! I'm sure with all that you're doing its sort of like working out! Plus you're cutting out carbs so that's probably why you're losing too. Try to get back on track when you can and like the AP said, take care of yourself. You'll be settled in, and back on track in no time!

Yes, this too shall pass. When you have a lot going on, as you do, it's okay to take a break when life simply does not allow you to keep to your normal workout schedule. Don't beat yourself up. Maybe try drinking some protein shakes to keep your energy up? I hope the move goes smoothly.
