What accessories will I need for the City Select Double? - *bump* I bought this stroller for a great price
Trying to add up the cost & this is what I am thinking I'll need.
-Main Stroller -Second Seat for dc#2 -Infant Car Seat Adaptor -2 Child Trays (I already have 1 tray from the city mini single, will that fit the City Select?) -I already have the Parent Console from my City Mini Single- that should fit the Select, right? -Was maybe thinking of getting the Glider Board as well for my older DC.
Will I need anything else? tia :)

The parent console will fit, but I find mine annoying b/c it always falls down and gets in DD's way if I have her facing me.
I don't think that the tray for the City Mini single will fit the double. You mentioned needing 2 child trays, but you really won't need the second for awhile, so maybe you can pick that up closer to the time you need it - this way you won't have to store it!
Rain cover?

Great idea about not needing the 2nd tray for a while.

Re: What accessories will I need for the City Select Double?
Just wanted to share that I ordered this double stroller online for a great price of $559. It's a sale style because the second seat is a 2010 model but with free shipping & no tax, who cares!

is the 2010 second seat much different from the 2012? this seems like a good deal. does anyone know if it is hard to adjust the canopy?

I actually called their customer service with similar questions. They reassured me that the only difference on the seat was the stitching. If you click on the link above, there is a pic showing the stitching differences. The canopy is not hard to adjust at all- I've tried it out in buy buy baby.

Re: What accessories will I need for the City Select Double? - *bump* I bought this stroller for a great price
I agree with Pishposh...they are really awesome. I bought my 2011 City Select from them in January when they were having a sale on the 2011 Diamond color because it was being discontinued. They were offering the stroller with the one seat PLUS the second seat for the price of just the stroller and first seat at $499 plus no tax and no shipping. I didn't want diamond but it was a deal too good to pass up. I called to place my order since I was paying with multiple gift cards from Christmas because this stroller is mega expensive lol and the lady told me that they no longer had the diamond color in stock but would still honor the sale price since it comes up online as being in stock so I got to pick any color I wanted for that awesome price! I picked the black one.
They didn't have to do that but they did and I think that's amazing customer service. I would def shop there again and I refer people to their site often.
As for the accessories... I have the organizer thing which for me was a must because I had the Maclaren before this stroller and hated not having a place for all my things. I bought the Baby Jogger brand one and at first it worked great because I just had my son in the one seat but when DS#2 arrived we have the car seat in the adapter and the organizer was under the car seat. DH fixed this by raising the handle on the stroller just a little bit. We didn't get the belly bar or child tray. I give DS snacks in his Munchkin thing with the lid that helps prevent spills (um yah right lol) and then take it away from him or else he dumps it upside down or throws it so I didn't see the need for the tray.

I purchased the 2012 model from them a few weeks weeks ago.
I considered the deal above however decided to pass. I also called customer service and they told me about the stitching difference. However, after further investigation I found out that the 2011 model had two big changes, the stitching and the seat depth is 1 inch deeper. Since seat depth is important to me because I don't have twins, my older one will be almost 18 months, I want as much room as I can get.
