Sorry, another double stroller question - City Select Owners
We were all set to buy the new Phil and Ted's double stroller next month. We currently live in Manhattan and this seemed most practical. However, we plan to move to the suburbs (TBD) in the near future (summer 2011).
How difficult is it to fold the City Select in and out of the car?
The city select seemed a bit bulky to me and hard to fold. However, it still seems to get rave reviews.
The other option is the double city mini. There is no way we can use this in manhattan (inside stores). Is it ok for aisles and the mall?
Which would you get if you were us? Living in the city for ~6m and then moving to the burbs with an infant and toddler.

Re: Sorry, another double stroller question - City Select Owners
We have the City Select, currently using it as a single stroller. I like it a lot, it is a very smooth ride, has a big under basket for shopping, you can change the position of the seat, brake is easy to use, handle height is adjustable, etc., there are a lot of conveniences. Closing it is quick and easy and it closes flat, but it is heavy, when not being pushed, and bulky. I knock things over in the store all the time. I am pretty tall and each time I close the stroller and lift it up into my jeep I think, "Oh Boy!"
We originally got the City Mini, I like it too, but I found there was no support for DS when he was younger. It says use for 6 months and older, but I wasn't comfortable using it until he was about 8 months old.
I hope this helps.

Re: Sorry, another double stroller question - City Select Owners
I love my city select. I have no problems folding it at all by myself. I am small and I lift it into my van with no problems. It's soooo easy to maneuver even with one hand. As far as size it's pretty big but I love it!! Nothing but great things to say.
