What age did you start the straw sippy cup?
My DD is 9 months old and drinks well out of a regular sippy cup, but she is very excited whenever she watches me drink out of a straw. Is this an appropriate age to start the straw cups? Also does any have a brand/kind that they recommend?

Pretty much right away. I started her on regular sippy cups and as soon as she started drinking wekl from them I switched. Probably around 9 months

Around 8 months I think. They never "got" the regular sippy cups.

I gave DD the straw sippy earlier this month (6 months) and she took to it right away and loves it. I have the NUBY one...
