We just switched to one about a month ago, Noah is 3 tomorrow and he weighs probably about 35 lbs

I was wondering this too. DD is over 3 now & #2 is on the way. We'll be using the infant seat at first, but I was hoping to be able to move DD into a booster when this baby outgrows that so he can have her current carseats. I looked at some boosters in Target today & they said 35 or 40 pounds I think.

DS was 4.5. Up before the move, he was still perfectly fine in his Britax marathon.

You can move them once they are 4. We moved Kiera when she was 4 and she weighs 33 pounds.

we owned a britax roundabout that DD grew out of height-wise, so at the suggestion of the car seat inspection station we bought a graco nautilus 3-in-1 carseat that should be the last one she needs...
ETA: she's a little over 2 1/2 and maybe 28 - 30 pounds.

Wow, really?? My DD is 18 mos. and almost 29 lbs and 33 in. The height limit for the Roundabout (which we have) is 40 inches ... your DD must be really tall and thin!

she's not tall, the issue was where her shoulders and head were placed. she was dangling out of it and looks much more comfy in the graco now.

we'll move DD when she's a little over 3 as we'll need the carseat for our second DD. We will be getting a five-point harness booster.

DS is 5.5 and 44lbs. We'll probably switch him around 6, and close to 48lbs or so.
