Land of Make Believe in NJ. I thought it was a great 1st park. And half the price of Sesame.

From what I've heard, at that age, Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA is perfect for that age! We're going in August with our then 1.5 and 2.5 year old. Chat Icon

DW was our first amusement park. We had so much fun. I do think DS's favorite was feeding the ducks though, which we could have done anywhere.

Our second amusement park was on the boardwalk at Ocean City.

Third was Sesame Place.

We had fun at those places as well.

Dutch Wonderland is great and I even think Hershey (close to DW) offers a ton of options for little ones also.

A bit further, but Busch Garden's in Williamsburg, VA has a small Sesame street area and Land of Dragon toddler area as well. Very cute!

Story land in NH - DS was 7 months so there wasnt a ton for him. But his cousins all loved it.

Hershey - DS was 18 months and LOVED it. Especially the water park area. We are thinking of going back again this year we all had so much fun (went with BILs family and his 3 kids)

Sesame - DS was 2.5 it was okay. DS isnt into the sesame characters but he enjoyed the water area.

Disney - DS was 22 month and again at 36 months....great time

I hear great things about DW too

Land of Make Believe is great for that age. Sesame & Dutch Wonderland would work too.

I think either Sesame or Land of Make Believe is a great way to start.
