What Appetizers and Side Dishes Go Best With Pizza?
We are going to do a pizza party (but for adults) for my DD's birthday. It is DD's favorite food and since it's her day and a fairly cheap catering option- we said why not. But I do feel a little weird serving pizza to certain members in our family who always expect a little more. So I was thinking of going a bit fancier in terms of appetizers and side dishes. Anything that compliments pizza rather than weighs it down?

I'm with your daughter…I love pizza! I think it goes great with everything! LOL
Appetizer Ideas:
Chicken wings
Antipasto
Crudite
Mozzarella, tomato and basil skewers
Bruschetta
Shrimp cocktail
Stuffed mushrooms
As a side I'd probably do a nice house salad with grilled chicken or a cold pasta salad.

Some ideas - Some not as fancy but delicious :)
Garlic Bread (With or without cheese), Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato, Breadsticks/Garlic Knots, Caesar Salad, Pasta Salad, Fried Calamari, Mozzarella Sticks, Penne Ala Vodka, Baked Ziti, Pasta with Alfredo, chicken rolls, Potato Croquettes, Sausage Bread, Wings/Chicken Fingers...hah now i'm hungry :)
