I use hot water and baby soap or sometimes regular dish washing soap, and then I make sure I rinse off the soap very well. If I was going to use a spray I would use the Seventh Generation or Babyganics spray.

One part vinegar to three parts water is a mild disinfectant. Just get an empty spray bottle from the dollar store.
That's what most women used at the turn of the century before all of these commercialized cleaners (and they do not have to disclose all of the chemicals they contain... the manufacturers can claim that some are trademark/secret ingredients... that makes me nervous).
Or, you can use rubbing alcohol that also disinfectants.

I registered for and got the germ guardian sanitizer. Haven't used it yet but it got good reviews.

I use clorox anywhere or clorox wipes (the "anywhere" mostly on toys though)

So far I've been using dish detergent or the baby wash on most things. Some fabric toys I wash in the machine, his pacifiers go in the dishwasher.
The vinegar water solution sounds good too. I would avoid Clorox or commercial cleaners on baby's toys myself.

If I was going to use a spray I would use the Seventh Generation or Babyganics spray. Same here. If it is exceptionally icky, I'll first do a warm water/bleach mix, and then I will rinse it a couple of times with warm water after to get all the bleach residue off.
