I'm attempting to give up selfishness. I intend to meditate more and take careful measure of my choices before I act for the next 40 days.. hopefully it will continue on after 40 days. I also am trying to give up laziness. That one is tough.

Wow. Chat Icon Chat Icon That really struck a chord with me. Good for you! That is truly meaningful. There are a lot of people I know who "give up" chocolate, etc., but continue to otherwise be mean, selfish, inconsiderate, etc. Sometimes I wanna tell them "just eat the friggin candy!"

I am giving up gossip, talking negatively about myself and others...
I am also going to make an effort to spend more quality time as a family- and to try & be more patient in general.
