What are your go-to appetizers
Dh and I may be hosting a small get together for new years. I definitely do not want to do a sit down meal, so we were thinking of having people come at 8:00-9:00 and just having appetizers for a couple of hours and then coffee and desserts. And obviously lots of booze. What are your favorite appetizers that are always a big hit? I'll definitely be doing lentil dip and having cheese/antipasto plate. My SIL is the dessert queen, so I don't have to worry too much about that.

Apps & dessert are my favorite! Some of my go tos:
-caramelized onion and goat cheese tartlets
-spinach artichoke
-pigs in a blanket (cheesy but always a fave)
- asparagus and cheese (and sometimes ham) wrapped in puffed pastry or crescent rolls
-candied kielbasa
-sweet/sour meatballs
-chili dip or 7 layer
-buffalo chicken dip (and put out mini potato rolls to make sliders)
- bean salad (can make individual cups for easy serving)
-olive tapenade with pita wedges
-greek layer dip with pita wedges

Re: What are your go-to appetizers
Not sure if you have a BJ's membership but I recently bought these frozen Philly Cheesesteak Spring Rolls there that were the most incredible thing ever! They literally flew off the serving plate- i couldn't get them out fast enough!
They also carry a brand called "The Good Wife" that has some outrageously good frozen apps- like mini Shepard's pies in like a tart crust.
Soooo good

What are your go-to appetizers
I love veggie pizza:
Roll out a package of crescent rolls on a cookie sheet (may need more than one to cover cookie sheet). Bake in oven according to directions on package. Meanwhile, combine a block of cream cheese with a packet of dry ranch dressing mix. Dice any vegetables of your choosing (I use a variety of peppers). After crescent roll crust cools, spread cream cheese mix over it. Cover with vegetables. Cut into squares.
So good!

Re: What are your go-to appetizers
My easy ones for grazing are:
cocktail meatballs in the slowcooker (mix heinz chili sauce with jellied cramberry sauce. Mix with the meatballs and cook 4 hours on low)
cheeses, sliced meats, olives, bread, olive oil board
homemade restaurant style salsa and guacamole and chips
cream cheese and pepper jelly spread with triskets
crudite with ranch dip
shrimp cocktail
mini hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls (pigs in a blanket)
bruschetta and toast
fried dumplings (I just buy the frozen ones, much easier than homemade!)
