I think its disgraceful that Obama's there. He was probally sitting with William Ayers listening to Rev Wright boasting God Dam_ America when it occurred

I'm not an Obama supporter, but I think it's disgraceful that anyone would purport to know what any other American feels or felt in relation to 9-11, politician or otherwise.

Im just stating that Obama has alot of nerve being there when he is associated with a racist Anti-American
spiritual advisor, and a known terrrorist.

Obama is an AMERICAN - he was an American on 9/11/01 and he's an American now - he doesn't have any 'nerve' being there, he deserves to be there the same way any other American does -

On paper he's an American. At heart i disagree.

so, if he is racist and anti american, what do you think he will "do" to the country once he gets into office? what are his "real" intentions for becoming President of a country he hates?

I am sadened by the direction this thread is taking. On such a sad and emotinal day, some still find ways to put judgement on others. I understand this is election year, however not everything is about politics. I'm sure like everyone else, they were deeply affected by 9/11. For one day, put your political views aside and give these candidates a little credit. They are human, and I'm sure they shed a few tears that day too. They have the right to pay their respects however they want.

Look i dont think the end of the world is gonna occur if Obama becomes President. I do think McCain is more likely to unite the party then Obama is however. Even Joe Biden likes him. And honestly thats what the country needs right now. Obama is a little to leftist to accomplish that goal i believe. McCain has proven to be able to play both sides, going after Republicans and Democrats alike.

Based on my opinion, i still stand on the note that Obama isn't patriotic or experienced enough to run the country. His character and who he associates with, made that decision for me.

And the above poster is correct. This is a day to remember the lives that were lost and fallen heroes that gave their lives to save others. Sorry if that got lost in this argument.

This day is about those who lost their lives and the horror that it was. Not for presidential grandstanding.

They have to go - if they didn't then all you would hear is how they are insensitive, blah, blah, blah.

Exactly,..they have to go. Everything you hear about 9/11 from defense to memorials is all political posturing. I want no part of it.
