Mine were

Papisan Infant Chair (up till 4months) and Infant to Toddler Rocker (FP) that will last from 4 months to about 2 years.

An activity play gym. THis will be the first toy they will play with (usually around 3 months) and they still love it.

A snap and go stroller. The easiest thing ever. I'm sad that my boys have outgrown this. Thanks to IrishTracy for recommending it to me way back when.

Pak N Play (Especially if your baby will be visiting others houses a lot)

Exersaucer (But you won't use it till they are at least 4 months so this one can wait)

Boppy (great to sit on the couch with DS/DD next to you in it)

Those little blue bags that smell like baby powder at Babies R Us. I swear when we run out of these we get scared. We decided against a diaper disposal and used these instead. They come 250 in a box and we use them all the time. They make the smell of dirty diapers go away and you can leave them in your garbage can with no odor until you are ready to throw out the garbage.

We would not have made it this far without:

1) Swing
2) Baby Einstein DVD's
3) Bundle Me
4) Snap N'Go
5) A lot of extra bottles

For us it was..

1. Bassinet..I had a c section and her bedroom was upstairs and I couldnt make it up and down the stairs for a while so this was a LIFESAVER!!!

2. Bounce chair..LOVE IT! Still use it all the time. Its great when you need to get things done, feed them in when they arent exactly ready for the highchair. She watches her einstein dvds in it.

3.Bibs, bibs and more bibs..I didnt use them much when she was an infant but now, forget about it. I thought I had too many. I was so wrong!

4.Baby Einstein dvds..at least one. Your child may not like them but my dd does. Its excellent for getting her to calm down and so mommy can take a shower or throw dinner together.

5.Any mobile or ANYTHING that makes a water sound. This may just be my daughter but its the one sound that helps her to fall asleep. Better than any music or anything else. She LOVES the sound of water.

Sidenote..we never bought a swing for our house. We bought the travel swing for my moms because we knew we would be spending a lot of time there. I love that she has it when we go there and shes not bored of it because she doesnt have it at home. She is getting tired of it now at 7 months but before this, it was a lifesaver. Especially for mom who didnt have to pull out her pack and play every time we came over for just a little while.

The ultimate crib sheet is basically a soft sheet on one side, a rubbery backing with something soft in between the two. All the bedding you'd probably put on the crib mattress but all sew together as one unit. Washes easily.

It snaps on & off- so you dont' have to remove bumpers to change it..
