What baby food is DC eating at 6 months?
Just curious, we have our well visit next week but wondering where everyone is with feeding..

My girls weren't eating anything besides formula/breastmilk at that age.
We skipped baby food and went straight to soft table foods. My oldest DD was 7 months old and my youngest DD was 8 months old.

Wondering bc my DD is about 18lbs and very tall ..she is taking a jar in the am and in the pm..she really doesnt take a ton yet, or maybe that is?? Because we have allergy issues but she seems to love the fruit, lol..veggies gave her allergies, no idea why but they did, i am going to reintroduce them soon again, was told by the Ped to wait a month or so..

My boys eat:
Peas
Butternut Squash
Carrots
Sweet Potato
Avocado
Peaches
Banannas
Apples
Pear
Prune(this give them nasty poop tho )
I also just bought some of the Earths Best Stage 2 mixes

Between 6 and 7 months we tried sweet potatoes, squash and apples. I made all of DD's food. This site is awesome, it gives you charts of when to try foods and also has a section on allergies that may be helpful to you.

Since her 6 mth visit, we started stage one foods. starting with veggies. We have done carrots and sweet potatoes first. We plan to do fruits and veggies until the 7th mth visit.
We feed a few tablespoons of cereal and veg/fruit 2 times a day, along with a bottle 4 times a day.

My DS is a little over 4 months. He's already had:
-cereal (rice & oatmeal)
-carrots
-green beans
-applesauce
-peaches
-bananas
I try something new every 3 days to prevent allergies. So far, so good. Tomorrow we'll try something else. Maybe pears....
He's doing amazing with the baby food and is still getting at least 30oz or more a day of formula.
He eats 1 jar in the AM with some cereal and then .5-1 jar in the PM with some cereal
Introduces food was a godsent for us.
