What brand of paint did you use in Nursery? Anyone use anything other than BM?
I've read that there are other paint manuf. that make no VOC paint but not sure how the selection and pricing is on those other brands? Thanks!

home depot sells Fresh Aire, and I think Behr has one now too (or maybe that is the Behr one)
our nursery upstate was painted last year with regular paint, so we won't be painting over it.
we ARE painting the bedroom/nursery in our apt in BK soon, and I am going to look to use a non VOC in that room, hopefully the Behr one, cuz I am satisfied with the paints performance.

We used the non-VOC Valspar paint from Lowes...I wasn't painting, wasn't in the house and we painted months ago so I'm not worried about it.

The big brand names that claim "zero VOC" aren't exactly zero.... the base white is zero, then they add VOCs with the colorant. It's still really low, though. Freshaire is 100% zero VOC.
I used Mythic Paint . They are also 100% zero VOC, and they have a huge selection of colors on their site, plus if you give them a BM color, they will match it. It's a bit expensive, but it's free shipping, so it isn't too bad. For me, it was worth the extra money, since DC were going to be closed in their room all night with whatever off-gas there is from the paint (paints off-gas for up to a year).

We used Behr from Home Depot and have been keeping the windows open to ventilate.

We used BM aura- it was expensive, but BM also has a natural line that is no VOC and a bit cheaper (I think around 50 a gallon). DH has been using that to touch up the trim around the house and I can't small it at all even when he is painting in the next room.

We will be using the original BM paint. We plan to ventilate the room nicely plus we just painted our entire house & the smell did not linger more then 24 hours
