Hofstra. My dad worked there so we went for free, however it was an hour drive so it s ucked.

I went to USDAN. Performing arts camp geek here.
Then I worked at the Smithtown YMCA for many, many summers.

Camp "My Backyard"
Seriously......with 5 kids in the family who could afford camps!!
For a few summers we went to the summer rec. programs at our elementary school......that was about it.

I went to Robin Hood from when I was 5 til the summer I turned 8. Then I went to Camp Lokanda from 1979-1985.

Clearview Day Camp in Bayside
My hubby went to North SHore Day camp all his life ! (also in Bayside!)
We went to Italy from June to September: beach, eating ice cream every nite, picnics on the mountains, and Italians dont just bring sandwiches... uhm, we had chicken cutlets on the beach  
and in the teen years, clubs (no clubbing or drinking age  ) party party party.. meet cute Italian boys 
uhm did I drift off onto a tangent or two

I went to Camp Echo as a kid (from 7 yo - being a counselor) in the Catskills
Then in college I worked at Camp Blue Ridge (sister camp to Camp Equinunk) in the Poconos

Went to Bar-H day camp when I was really little.
Then went to Coleman Country Day Camp when I was 9 maybe (going into 4th grade) and went every summer until I was 17. I worked there as a counselor from 14-17. My mom worked there every summer too!

West Hills Day Camp
I went to West Hills for 2 summers.
Before that, I went to a Y day camp and after I went to sleep away....Camp Sprout Lake and Camp Tel Yehuda.

I went to the Dix Hills Adventure Camp. It was run by the town of Huntington. My parents used to go to town hall and wait on line for hours to sign me and my brother up!

I went to Ivy League in Happaugue (sp?)...I grew up in Port Jeff....it was a hike!!
I also went to Brookhaven and ECLC when I was really little for a few years.
I was a wuss...wouldn't go to sleepaway even though my dad begged me to go!

DH went to Equinunk-- and still goes up for Alumni weekend and Color War-- a good friend of mine from HS also worked at Blue Ridge...

Camp Icagohwan in Wisconsin for 2 years. It was a sleep-away YMCA camp. I did the horse riding program, which was awesome!
I also went to Girl Scout Day Camp for a couple years and GS Sleepover camp for a couple years.
