What can I put in toddler's easter eggs
that is not candy?
I want to put out Easter eggs for him in our backyard but have no idea what to put in them. He's 2.5 and doesn't eat candy yet. I thought stickers but he's not exactly a sticker fan.
Any ideas?

I was going to suggest this. Last year, my ILs did a very small egg hunt for my son (he was about 15 months). They put Cheerios, goldfish, puffs, i think little pretzels, and they threw in some blueberries and raspberries. He has always been a HUGE berry lover and they just put them in right before hiding them and then he looked for them right away, so it wasn't like they were sitting out a while.

Those would have to be some extra large eggs!
What about yogurt raisins or just plain raisins?

Sorry, don't mean to be preachy! But raisins are really bad for your teeth, almost as bad as fruit snacks the dentist said.
They sell pre-fiilled eggs at Target with play-doh, and other trinket type toys in them. Or you could do Chuck E Cheese tokens if that is a place you go.

Thanks everyone for the great ideas. I am seriously challenged in the crafty/creative dept.

Not preachy...candy is worse, I think.

We're putting matchbox cars, stickers, M&Ms, Goldfish, $1 bills, if we can find small stamps we like, we'll put them in too.
