What color carpet for grey walls in master bedroom?
And any suggestions for grey paint? Lol
So, i will be painting my master bedroom soon. Need to choose a paint color and want to do something grey. Or grey-ish. We are doing the painting ourselves, so not locked into a particular brand. Any and all suggestions are welcome!
The room has a vaulted/not quite cathedral ceiling so it looks larger than it is.
What color carpet would you put in a grey room? I dont really want to go too light if I can help it (kids, pets, DH...lol). Would a darker grey carpet be overkill? Or do I need to suck it up and put in something lighter? It will be relatively temporary as we will be putting down wood flooring throughout the whole house in about two years.
Wish I had good design skills. I'm lucky my clothes match most days!

We have gray walls in our bedroom with hardwood floors but have a light gray (w white pattern) throw rug on top of the floors.
Our den is also gray and we got a medium gray wall-to-wall carpet there.

Our bedroom is painted BM Revere Pewter and we have grey carpeting - its a shade that is pretty similar to the wall color

Our bedroom walls are a grey/plum color and I love it. We have hardwood floors but I would do a light grey with my color

What color carpet for grey walls in master bedroom?
Can you do wood floors with an area rug. And you can bring in another color that way without the commitment of wall to wall. I am a fan of yellow or even a bright blue with grey but would only do that if you can do the area rug.
I am not a fan of neutral and neutral....its sleepy to me.

We have a light beige, all the rooms with carpet are a light beige bc paint colors can change over the years so we keep the carpet neutral thatll work with everything.
