what color shoes ...
I bought a dress that is maroon and navy striped color and I have no idea what color shoes I can wear with them.
I have no fashion sense and I rarely wear dresses so this is out of my comfort zone to even wear a dress when I don't need to (i.e. wedding).
I should say I CANT wear heels I cant walk in them at all wish I could but my wallet thanks me cause if I could I would have about a million shoes. I can do wedges and a very low heel.
also if I wanted to wear a dress now I can wear stockings right I wont look like an idiot not sure if that's in style

what color shoes ...
Nude colored shoes are always a safe bet - they go with everything!
Personally, I HATE stockings! I never wear them...even if its freezing out! Lol

really you don't wear them so you would just wear closed toe shoes no stocking or anything in the winter.
I am not a fan of stocking either but then I thought people would think I am crazy for not wearing them in the winter.

Where are you wearing the dress to?
Depending on the setting you could probably do boots and tights.
If not, you can do nude shoes with no tights

you could totally do boots in the color I posted.
I wear them with EVERYTHING.

Nude definitely, and I always wear stockings when its cold. My legs are WHITE and they look awful w/out them.

I haven't even owned a pair of stocking since 1991. No people won't think your crazy for no stockings.
I actually see them and think " oh no". I rarely see them except for some very conservative offices.
Self tanner or air brush legs if you want some color.
