It's SPECIAL Walnut! After I saw the other poster write Special Walnut - I thought Hey, I think that's what I picked. So I looked at the paperwork.
I called it medium bc he explained it to me as a medium darkness lol
We love it

What I recently learned is that it depends on what type of wood you have, because the stain will appeaar slightly different.
We used a dark color throughout our entire house, but the bedrooms had original wood which is red oak, and we had installed in the main part of the house; living room, kitchen, hallways a 5inch plank of white oak. So while the stain is the same the white oak is more brown-y with no traces of reddish/oranges.
But I love how it looks on both floors. I think we went as dark as you can go before espresso, which is almost blackish.
