What common food won't you eat?

Is there a food(s) that are common, that you refuse to eat?

I get along with all foods... I don't think there's a food yet that I refuse to eat. I don't enjoy every food (overcooked cabbage that is grayish colored), but I can't think of anything I absolutely can't eat.

I used to say I would eat anything that was cooked, but after I had my first raw fish sushi, I even changed my mind on that. I think my line in the sand right now, is that it has to be dead first. Not saying I won't, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to bite the head off of something still moving...

Fruit. I have a big sweet tooth so one would think I'd love "nature's candy" LOL, but I can't eat any of it.

I am not a big fan of rice. I absolutely love sushi, so I eat it on sushi...I feel like all of the other ingredients overpower the rice.

When I was a kid and teenager, though, I was repulsed by rice. I only started eating it because of sushi, so when I was around maybe 19 or so.

I don't really eat rice at all otherwise though.

I won't eat any cheese that has an odor to it.
No parmesan, no asiago, no Romano, no provolone.
I gag at the smell of these cheeses.

I also won't eat blue cheese or feta.

What common food won't you eat?

The texture of coconut makes me want to gag. It is the only thing I will absolutely not eat.

There are foods I don't particularly enjoy, but will tolerate if they are being served: olives, feta.

I won't eat any fish, seafood or peanut butter.

Cucumbers

Beans of any kind

Lobster

Salmon

Clams/oysters

Guacamole or anything with avocado

Eggs, beef, milk, and anything with caraway seeds in it.

I like most things. I don’t like lamb or mint flavored things. I also can’t stand tuna from a can. Sushi grade tuna is wonderful, though.

I am kind of food snobby, though.I won’t touch most things at McDonald’s, Taco Bell or things like that. Maybe just the fries and chips. I’d rather go to “better” fast food places, lol.

It's frustrating because I love the smell of cooked carrots so I keep trying them.

I love all food and will try anything. Only thing i hate is coffee. Not a fan. Rather have tea

Coffee, sushi, avocados, all seafood, sour cream, and cream cheese

I also like the taste of brussel sprouts, but the smell makes me gag so I just can't do it.

Red meat.

I know, I just don't like it. I've tried burgers and steak many times and I just can't do it.


When my mom was pregnant with me she couldn't eat red meat- it made her sick. And I've been the same since I was little. She took me to McDonalds and I refused a hamburger at 3.

No mayo
No sausage
No dark or organ meats
No coffee or tea
No eggs (as in hardboiled, egg salad, etc.)

I hate bananas -- the smell and texture. I know most people love them.
Im a picky eater in general but love fruit otherwise.

Ummm a whole lot.

I eat like a toddler lol I have gotten much better but I really don’t like a lot of food!!!

any fish exception is tuna fish as long as someone else makes it. If I make it I won’t eat it.

Pickles.

Only cold cut I eat is salami and boars head roast beef (which is odd cause I know it’s not well done and I will only eat well done meat lol)

I’m picky with my meats too. I eat chicken and beef but won’t eat veal. All meat needs to be well done. Sometimes pork chops.

Really most vegetables and fruit i don’t eat. I eat bananas and grapes. Tomatoes only if they are cooked in something, onions and lettuce

So many of these foods I love. I never understood how people can’t like seafood! I also was the pickiest eater up until 22 or so. Then working in restaurants changed all of that.

Oh I remembered one- Hot Dogs. Will not touch them. And not a huge fan of a lot of sausages (I’m in the wrong country for that, lol).
