What did you or are you doing for DC's 2nd birthday party?
DH said that it usually is immediate family. For Jacob's first birthday, we had family and friends and catered in lunch. I was just curious what other have done or are doing. TIA!

I just had Molly's 2nd birthday yesterday. We had it at home and had a pool party. I had about 35 people all together.

It's early (DD is only 13.5 months), but we plan on having close family & friends over for probably a BBQ at our house.

Debating having just family over or having it out at a place. His first bday was very small, immediate family, so, I may want to do something a little different.

For his second birthday (which is a long ways away) we will just have family here for a BBQ. That alone is close to 70 people though.

For her second, we did family and close friends (about 25 people) - they really don't know yet, for her 3rd this year, she is having a kiddie party at Pump It Up

We brought immediate family (about 20 poeple) to lunch at one of our favorite restaurants and then went back to FIL's house afterwards because he has a nice yard.
ETA: My sister had my nieces 2nd at My Gym and it was fantastic. We are planning on having DD's 3rd party there as well!

I have a while until then, but we will probably just have it out somewhere. She absolutely loves the Patchogue Chuck E Cheese, so we'll probably have it there.

Re: What did you or are you doing for DC's 2nd birthday party?
we had a huge party for her 1st bday at a hall.(about 100 people) .and a pretty big party also in a party room for her 2nd (about 50 people)...we had a tough year with the passing of my mom and all and just decided that DD was what kept us going throughout the year and was worth the celebration! Next year will be much smaller and low key...either a kiddie party at a kids type place (my gym, chuck e cheese etc) or a small BBQ at the house for family and close friends.
