i wore VS flannel button down PJs soooo comfy&cute, and nice&loose to hide my pp figure!
THey have cute PJ also at motherhood&those other maternity stores that are especially for BFing.

I know a lot of grandmothers suggest the night gowns-i guess that was the thing to wear back then,
but im always cold and especially in the hospital i knew i wouldnt be comfortable in a night gown walking in the hallway to go to the nursery.

I wore yoga pants and a tshirt. I did have a BFinf top that went with my PJs and I was glad I had that but really I nursed my baby in private and just DH was there or I was alone so it was fine. I LOVED my yoga pants and I wore flip flops because my feet were SO swollen and they were great bc I also wore them in the shower. I bought "old lady" underwear though bc I knew it would probably get ruined from bleeding and it also came in handy since I had the c-section, the waist band was far away from my incision. Oh yeah and socks with rubber grips on the bottoms, those were a huge help.

I had a c-section and wore a tank nightgown with a robe and comfy slippers..I got so hot i didn't want socks on so slippers were fine. You get checked a lot so it was easier with the nightgown.

the hospital gown until afterI took a shower when I wore PJ pants (I think..it was some sort of knit pants) and a tee shirt

First two days I wore the hospital gown. The next two I wore nightgowns. With a c-section I found the nightgown very comfy. Plus they kept checking my incision so it just made it easier.

I owre PJ pants and top during the day and the hsopital gown to sleep in.

With Christopher, I wore a nightgown for fear that if I ended up with a C-section (which I did) that pants would be painful on the incision. With Kaylee I wore pants and a shirt. I just made sure to wear pants that were large enough to fit above the C-section scar. I was so much more comfortable. I felt weird walking the halls and seeing visitors in a nightgown.

I bought a nightgown and some pjs because I wasn't sure what I would like. Turns out I needed a c-section, and like some of the other c-section mommies said, it was easier to be in the nightgown for them to check the incision. After I felt a little better I switched to pjs.
