looking back I hated my outfits both times 
With DS I wore a black knee length skirt that had a kind of a flutter at the hem with a white and black button down.
With DD I wore black pants and knit top

the dress i am wearing in my profile pic is what i wore for my dd's christening.
it was from whitehouse black market. i loved it!
it went down to the knee.

I got this dress on sale at Boden. It was soooooooo hot on her Baptism day. (This is her after Baptism dress...couldn't keep her in the real one all day...too hot!)
