Something more comfortable? Something different but nice, like a nice dress for girls? Any pics? Chat Icon

DD stayed in her christening dress. she was 5 months so she wasn't crawling or moving around too much. she seemed comfy in it. i did bring a white ruffle PJ set but never put it on her.

A white cotton dress from Baby Gap. It was about 9,000,000 degrees on her baptism day. I'll never forget how hot it was.

Same here, both my DD and DS stayed in the Christening outfits for their parties. They were 3 and 4 months for their christenings. Since I spent so much money on beautiful outfits for them to wear I thought it made sense for them to wear them the whole day. Also, not everyone comes to the church and I wanted all the guests to see them dressed up. They both seemed comfortable wearing their outfits all day.

ETA: both of their christening were in the winter.

I changed the baby into a dressy but more comfortable outfit. He was 8 months old and moving around a lot.

a cute, but more comfy dress. DD wore my Christening gown from 30+ years ago. There is a lot of fabric and I didn't want it to get ruined by her reflux!

Same for both kids. I figured it was a once in a lifetime outfit for both and wanted them to be in it as much as possible. They were both 3 months and were just passed aroung and seemed confortable in them.
