What did your doctor say or do when you told him/her about spotting?
Did your doctor have you come in and check the heart beat or you?
Did your doctor just talk to you over the phone?
In my circumstance right now I had woken up yesterday morning with a light brownish spot (quarter size) on my underwear. When I wiped throughout the day there was a slight brownish tinge.
This morning no spotting but slight brownish tinge when I push in a little with toilet paper.
I'll be calling the doctors office at 9am I was just curious what you think she might ask me to do. I took the day off for this.

It depends on your doctor, and depending how many weeks you are. If its brown spotting that means old blood, that can be left over from in there. I would worry, i would just call your doctor and see what they say.

I had spotting with my DS and my doctor's didn't want to see me. I think it was around 5-6 weeks so I hadn't even had my 1st appointment yet. I was freaked out, but my doctor reassured me that it's VERY common. If the bleeding becomes very heavy or you have really bad cramps then it might be cause for concern, but otherwise a little spotting is normal!

I had this happen recently, except my blood was bright red which totally freaked me out. They had me come in the same day for a sono and to check the heartbeat. They also checked my cervix to see if they could find out where the bleeding was coming from. Mine remained a mystery and so far the baby's doing well! They told me that they would be more concerned if I was bleeding and cramping, but not to worry otherwise.
I hope everything turns out okay with you!
