What do Braxton-Hicks contractions feel like?
I'm 27 weeks and last night I woke up a few times because it felt like my stomach was getting really really tight and constricting for a few seconds and then I would have a pain in my lower back.
Is that Braxton-Hicks?

Yeah, it sounds like them. I had them a LOT at the end of my pregnancy...but they lasted for more than a few seconds.

sounds like it to me. Although mine last for about 30 seconds, sometimes longer.
And they're also irregular, like you couldnt time them.

Thanks so much! I was starting to get a little freaked out but I was hoping that's what it would be.
It may have been more than a few seconds, I was groggy from sleep.
