what do they test for in genetic counseling?
Just curious. considering having this done.

anyone? nopone had this doen? what kind of diseases or conditions are they testing to see if you are a carrier of them.

I had this done before I did my IVF process, it was mandatory that they do it.
I dont remember what they test for, but some of it is like spina bifida, cystic fibrosis.

we went to genetic counseling when i was PG with kaylee. They found a cyst on her brain and they didn't know what it was so they tried to prepare us for what it could be. Then they did a ton of blood test to rule all of them out one by one. THye tested us for eveything. Then they asked us our family history from my great great grandfather all the way to us.
