What do you bring on vacation for your toddler?
Ok, I have the usual, clothes, blankie, enough diapers, sippie cups, etc, but I am talking about toys and stuff like that. We are renting a house with DH's family and there will be a lot of people there (20 + us ) but I don't want to assume people want to play with my kid So what should I bring to keep him occupied?
TIA!!

For DS I usually bring his favorite stuffed animal, books, cars/trucks, and bath toys! Also, maybe pool/beach things if you'll be doing any of that!

We travel with DS's play table. It packs up nice and flat and he loves it! We also bring an assortment of trains, cars, etc. Also, pool/bath toys are a necessity!

I've taken a few small toys that can fit in my diaper bag/suitcase easily.
These days my cell phone and a couple crayons are really all he needs to be entertained for hours!!

We were away last week for 1.5 weeks. The portable DVD player was my best friend. And books always keep her busy for a little while. She loves coloring now, so I picked up some coloring books & crayons too.
