He is giving me major problems with eating. He will only eat the jarred cereal with mixed fruit. He won't even eat fruit by itself or veggies.

My sister had this trouble with her girls. For her the only thing that worked was putting what they would eat on the tip of the spoon with the veggies so they tasted that first.

Try mixing up cereal. take a spoonful of cereal and add the fruit or veggies to the tip of the spoon. Gradually reduce the amount of cereal and increase the amount of veggies. This is what I did with some of the veggies with DS. I think he had to get used to the textures of some of the foods before he would eat them by themselves.

honestly, my ped told me that they want them to eat fruit OR veggies. If he eats fruit, I would not push or worry about the veggies

my dd was the same way. Now at 21 months, she loves corn, broccoli and green beans Chat Icon

At 26 months my other DS eats no veggies and just recently started eating yogurt to get his fruits. Chat Icon
