What do you do when your eyes (allergy related)
JUST WON'T STOP TEARING.
my left eye is sooo bad, the outer corner is raw from the constant tear flow
I'm on allergy meds and I use allergy eye drops, but it seems that everyone and their Mom is mowing the lawn today.
What can I do? The skin around my eyes is so dry and scaly, I've been putting (get this) Eucarin on them!!! Can't get more heavy duty moisturizer than that.
UGH!!!
Thanks

I wash my face to get off the pollen/dust. Then I moistuize.
I feel your pain, Nic. Allergies are horrible and my eyes hurt.

Re: What do you do when your eyes (allergy related)
Thanks Hollie.
I'm trying.
What's worse is that I ALWAYS wear some eye makeup, even if its just mascara, but I really CAN'T lately. Just can't do it, it burns so badly. So now I have people asking if I'm OK, b/c I don't look so hot.
How rude!!!!

I feel your pain!!! I have horrible allergies. Unfortunately, I have never found anything to help the tearing. For the dryness, I use bacitracin. You just have to be careful when appling it, but I found it very helpful.

I am having the same exact problem, Nic. I asked one of the nurses at my job and she recommended drops called Opcon-A....over the counter and she said they are great. I haven't gotten them yet, but I can let you know once I try them

That is what I use! It definitely relieves the itching and the burning, BUT doesn't do anything for the tearing I've found these drops to be better than the prescription patanol i had last year.

And Heidi - how come everytime I post about a skin "thing" - you have it too?!?! We're long lost skin sisters
